Abstract: To analyse quantitive phytochemical and in vitro antioxidant properties of ethyl acetate fruit extracts of Guazuma ulmifolia. Quantitative phytochemical analysis for total phenolic, flavonoids, alkaloids and tannins were made by following standard procedures. Antioxidant potential ethylacetate fruit extracts of Guazuma ulmifolia were studied by using different in vitro model like DPPH, FRAP, ABTS, and the scavenging activity was investigated by the production of nitric oxide, superoxide anion scavenging activity, hydrogen peroxide by adapting standard methods. The quantitative phytochemical analysis of this Guazuma ulmifolia fruit exhibited the presence of alkaloids, total pheniolic, flavonoids and tannins in considerable quantity. In vitro antioxidant activity of the Guazuma ulmifolia show prominent antioxidant properties.
