Abstract: Schizophrenia is a chronic disorder that does not have any cure currently, but the symptoms associated with it can be treated. The pathology of the disease is not completely known, and antipsychotics have certain limitations. In this review, we have concentrated on the pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment of schizophrenia and new drugs, therapy and treatment options introduced.
